Nicholas Klaus

Nicholas Klaus (died 1948) was a German-American money launderer and associate of the Cuneo crime family. Klaus became known for his brutality, alcoholism, and eagle-eyed bodyguards, and, in 1948, he hosted a house party in Hoboken, New Jersey. Corleone crime family soldier Rocco Lampone sent Aldo Trapani to assassinate Klaus, and Trapani choked him to death in his backyard after dispatching his bodyguards.
