
Nicholas Daniel Coleman (22 April 1800-11 May 1874) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-KY 2) from 4 March 1829 to 3 March 1831, succeeding John Chambers and preceding Thomas A. Marshall. Born in Cynthiana, Kentucky, he practiced law before serving in the state house from 1824 to 1825 and in Congress. He later served as postmaster of Vicksburg, Mississippi from 1841 to 1844.
