New Scotland Yard is the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police Service, located on the Victoria Embankment in the City of London, London, England. It was designed in 1890, served as the base of the MPS' territorial policing department from 1985 to 1992, and became the headquarters of the MPS in 2016.
