
Nevin Vissman (1313-) was a 14th-century Scottish nobleman and a commander of King David II of Scotland's armies during the Wars of Scottish Independence.
Biography[]
Nevin Vissman was born in Scotland in 1313 to a Scottish noble family, and he became one of King David II of Scotland's commanders during the Wars of Scottish Independence. In the first months of 1338, he commanded one of the massive Scottish armies which invaded England via Lancashire, besieging Lancaster in 1339 but failing to take the city from its resolute garrison.
