The Nestor Checkpoint was an Ancient Greek military camp in the Bay of Hades in Messenia, Greece. Located in the mountain pass between the bay and the Valley of Aristomenes, the checkpoint was named for King Nestor of Pylos. In 422 BC, the Spartan mercenary Kassandra killed the camp's commander Meurios and the camp's other guards while en route to the Battle of Kerkis.
