
Neomi Jehangir Rao (22 March 1973-) was a Judge of the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit from 18 March 2019, succeeding Brett Kavanaugh.
Biography[]
Neomi Jehangir Rao was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1973 to Parsi Indian immigrant parents, and she was raised in Bloomfield Hills. A member of the Federalist Society, she worked as a lawyer in London before serving as Donald Trump's Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs from July 2017 to March 2019 and as Judge of the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit from 2019.
