Nemesio Cortez Bustos (1851-1899) was a Cuban Army soldier who was stationed on Guarma during the Guarman Revolution. In 1899, he served on a prisoner detail and beat Arthur Morgan whenever he fell behind the rest of the chain gang, but he was killed when Hercule Fontaine ambushed the Cuban soldiers and freed the prisoners.
