Ned Burner (died 1998) was a corrupt reporter from New York City who was involved with the NYPD, Leon McAffrey, Toni Cipriani, and the Leone Crime Family.

Burner was born in New York and became a reporter for the New York Times. He used illegal and risky tactics to try and get good stories such as hiring people to cause chaos and kill people. He would also get inside scoops via email from people such as Maria Latore. After he witnessed the 1998 murder of Avery Carrington at the hands of Toni Cipriani and Donald Love, Burner was murdered by Toni after he tried to have Toni kill Love. Burner's body was taken to Donald Love's private jet and consumed by Love along with Avery Carrington.
