The Nativity Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic church in the Brightwood section of Washington DC. The church was founded in 1900 as part of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, and most of its initial congregants were of Irish and German descent. Starting in the 1960s, the church became a center of the Black Catholic community, and Mother Teresa once visited the church.
