The Nationalist Faction was a reactionary and ultra-royalist faction of Sindhi politics under the Talpur dynasty of the mid-19th century. The faction was supported by the traditional aristocracy of Sindh, which supported the monarchy, yet also supported a degree of financial independence (opposing the Royal Faction's state capitalist policies) and was avowedly jingoistic. The Nationalist Faction was considered too radical by the Emirs, who favored the unquestionably loyal Royal Faction over the nationalistic aristocrats. The faction dissolved when the British annexed Sindh in 1843.
