The Nationalist Faction of Panjab was a reactionary political party in Panjab that was active from 1836 to 1849. The party was composed of the most right-wing sections of the Panjabi court, namely those who sought to not only support the Sikh Empire's monarchy, but also pursue aggressive expansionism. The faction was led by the military and the aristocracy, and it was radically opposed to the Liberal Faction of Panjab and in favor of conquering neighboring Indian states. It dissolved after Britain's annexation of the Punjab in 1849.
