The National Socialist Movement (NSM) is a national socialist political party in the United States that was founded in 1974 as a splintergroup from the American Nazi Party. The party claimed to be the largest and most active neo-Nazi movement in the USA, while rejecting the labels "racist" and "neo-Nazi" in favor of "a white civil rights organization." The NSM was involved in several far-right and alt-right rallies and protests, including the Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia in 2017, and it was also involved with "White Lives Matter" protests and White House picketing.
