Nathaniel Terry

Nathaniel Terry (30 January 1768-14 June 1844) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-CN AL) from 4 March 1817 to 3 March 1819, succeeding John Davenport and preceding James Stevens.

Biography[]

Nathaniel Terry was born in Enfield, Connecticut in 1768, and he practiced law before serving as a judge, in the state house from 1804 to 1815, in the US House of Representatives as a Federalist from 1817 to 1819, and as Mayor of Hartford from 1824 to 1831 as a Whig. He died in 1844.
