Nathaniel Niles (3 April 1741 – 31 October 1828) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-VT 2) from 17 October 1791 to 3 March 1795, preceding Daniel Buck.

Biography[]

Nathaniel Niles was born in South Kingstown, Rhode Island in 1741, and he preached in Norwich and Torrington, Connecticut before moving to West Fairlee, Orange County, Vermont in 1783. He served in the State House in 1784 and as a Justice of the Vermont Supreme Court from 1784 to 1788, and he went on to serve in the US House of Representatives from 1791 to 1795. He later returned to the State House and was a presidential elector, and he died in 1828.
