Nathaniel Alexander (5 March 1756 – 7 March 1808) was a member of the US House of Representatives (DR-NC 10) from 4 March 1803 to November 1805 (succeeding John Stanly and preceding Evan Shelby Alexander) and Governor of North Carolina from 10 December 1805 to 1 December 1807 (succeeding James Turner and preceding Benjamin Williams).
Biography[]
Nathaniel Alexander was born in Concord, Anson County, North Carolina in 1756, and he served in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War before serving in the House of Commons in 1797, the State Senate in 1801, the US House of Representatives from 1803 to 1805, and Governor from 1805 to 1807. He died in 1808.
