
Nathan Belcher (23 June 1813-2 June 1891) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-CN 3) from 4 March 1853 to 3 March 1855, succeeding Chauncey F. Cleveland and preceding Sidney Dean. Born in Preston, Connecticut, he practiced law in Clinton and New London before serving in the state house in 1846 and 1847, in the state senate in 1850, and in Congress.
