Nassrin Hammed

Nassrin Hammed was a Palestinian woman and the wife of Hamas arch-terrorist Taufiq Hammed. In 2015, her daughter Abir was kidnapped by a rogue Israeli Mista'arvim team and wounded when the Israelis blew up Sheikh Mohammed Ali Awadalla in front of her, causing Shin Bet captain Gabi Ayub to ensure that the girl was cared for at Israel's elite Hadassah Hospital. Nassrin was initially insistent that her daughter be moved to a Palestinian hospital, as she did not trust Jews, but Ayub persuaded her that her daughter would only be able to receive the care that she needed at an Israeli hospital, and he told her of how an Arab doctor had once saved his son from a potentially lethal snakebite, gradually winning her over. Ayub then persuaded Nassrin to take her daughter and her son to Berlin, Germany, giving them passports to give them a new life. Nassrin was at first reluctant to abandon her husband, but she later called him and said that she could not live a life on the run in which she raised her children without their father, and she abandoned her isolated husband.
