Naoyori Shinjo (1538-8 February 1613) was a retainer of the Azai clan of Omi Province during the Sengoku period. He fought at the Battle of Anegawa, and he defected to the Oda shortly before the Siege of Odani Castle. He then became a cavalry officer under Hideyoshi Toyotomi, fighting at the Battle of Yamazaki and later in the Imjin War. He sided with Mitsunari Ishida against Ieyasu Tokugawa in 1600, but he was pardoned by Ieyasu Tokugawa and given a fief in Hitachi Province.
