Naomori

Naomori Ii (1506-12 June 1560) was the daimyo of the Ii clan and a retainer of the Imagawa.

Biography[]

Naomori was the ruler of West Totomi in Totomi Province, and he was a vassal of the Imagawa of Suruga Province. Naomori was the father of Naotora Ii, a female warrior who would adopt Naomasa Ii as her son. From 1545 to 1560, Naomori fought against the Oda clan of Owari Province to the north, and in 1560 he was killed at the Battle of Okehazama while trying to protect his lord from Nobunaga Oda's forces.
