Nagakatsu Asano was the daimyo of the Asano clan and the father-in-law of Hideyoshi Hashiba.
Biography[]
Nagakatsu Asano was the lord of the Asano clan of Inuyama, and he was one of the daimyo forced to submit to Nobuhide Oda during his campaigns in 1545. In 1561, his daughter Nene married Hideyoshi Hashiba, making him the father-in-law of one of the "Three Great Unifiers" of Japan. His grandson was Nagamasa Asano.
