Nagachika Kanamori (1524-1607) was a Tokugawa general, who first fought at the Battle of Nagashino in 1575 and a number of other battles under the Oda clan. After Nobunaga Oda's death, he sided with Katsuie Shibata in the succession crisis, but when Shibata was defeated at the Battle of Shizugatake in 1583 by the Toyotomi clan, he joined Ieyasu Tokugawa, leading 1,140 troops at the Battle of Sekigahara. After the Sekigahara Campaign he was given his own fief, called the Takayama Domain.
