
Myron Timothy Herrick (9 October 1854-31 March 1929) was the Republican Governor of Ohio from 11 January 1904 to 8 January 1906, succeeding George K. Nash and preceding John M. Pattison.
Biography[]
Myron Timothy Herrick was born in Huntington Township, Lorain County, Ohio in 1854, and he became a lawyer in Cleveland in 1878 and then a bank president. Herrick served on the Cleveland City Council from 1885 to 1888, as a Republican presidential elector in 1892, as Governor of Ohio from 1904 to 1906, and as Ambassador to France from 1912 to 1914 and from 1921 to 1929. He died in Paris in 1929.
