
Mustafa Hajrulahovic Talijan (22 January 1957-8 March 1998) was an ARBiH general during the Bosnian War.
Biography[]
Mustafa Hajrulahovic Talijan was born in Banja Luka, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia in 1957, and he finished the military academy in Split, Croatia in 1979. He left the Yugoslav People's Army in 1991 with the rank of Captain and joined the ARBiH, serving as commander of the 1st Corps for much of the Bosnian War. He was very popular in the army and among the people, and he was one of the key defenders of besieged Sarajevo. He died of a heart attack in 1998 while visiting his mother in Hamburg, Germany.
