
Muslim Khan was a spokesperson for Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan.
Biography[]
Muslim Khan was born in Kabal Tehsil in the Swat Valley of Pakistan, and worked for four years in Boston in the United States as a painter. He later returned to Pakistan and became a spokesperson for the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan militants in the country and preached that anyone who did not follow his interpretation of Islam was a non-Muslim. In 2009, he urged for TTP militants to kill the families of soldiers to teach them lessons, and before the start of the government counteroffensive in the region, he controlled 90% of Swat.
On 10 September 2009 Muslim Khan was arrested on the outskirts of Mingora by the security forces of Pakistan shortly after he vowed that his men would step up attacks.
