The Mullah Dadullah Front was an Afghan Islamist terror organization which was founded by Abdul Qayyum Zakir in 2007. Named for the radical Taliban commander Mullah Dadullah, who embraced the Salafist ideology of al-Qaeda to the chagrin of the Deobandi Taliban leadership, the Dadullah Front operated in southern Afghanistan under the leadership of the Mullah's brother Mansoor Dadullah. In 2015, Mansoor Dadullah and many of his supporters were killed in clashes with the Taliban, and Mullah Emdadullah Mansoor took over the group and swore vengeance against the Taliban.
