]The Mouvement Franciste was a fascist and anti-Semitic political party in France which existed from 1933 to 1944, founded by Marcel Bucard. It was funded by Benito Mussolini's fascist government in Italy and came to have 10,000 members, known as the "Blueshirts", and it took part in violent anti-government rallies in Paris on 6 February 1934. The participants in the rallies were banned in 1936, but the Mouvement Franciste became the "Francist Party" in 1941 during the reign of pro-Nazi Vichy France. The party supported collaboration with Nazi Germany during World War II, and it collapsed during the Liberation of France in 1944.
