Motomochi Asai (3 May 1540 – 27 January 1574) was a samurai loyal to the Oda clan of Owari Province in Japan. In 1574, he fought under Nobunaga Oda and led a unit of warriors during the Battle of Agematsu against the Takeda. On 27 January 1574, Asai was killed by the Takeda in the bloody battle between the two armies.
