Moromochi Hatakeyama (died 1547) was the daimyo of the Hatakeyama.
Biography[]
Moromochi became the daimyo of the Hatakeyama clan around 1547, and he lived in Sendai Castle, the capital of Miyagi Prefecture (the southern half of Mutsu Province in northern Japan). In the fall of 1547, he made a stand in the city with 495 troops, but Yoshinori Date's 735 Date troops overran the castle and killed Moromochi.
