Ukita

Morishige Akashi (died 1618) was a vassal of Hideie Ukita and a general of the Toyotomi an Ukita, baptised a Christian in 1596. He fought against Ieyasu Tokugawa at the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600 and surrendered to Nagamasa Kuroda, and was spared accordingly. However, in 1615 he joined the Toyotomi loyalists embattled in Osaka with the Tokugawa forces. His flank attack failed, and he escaped the fall of the castle.
