Morimasa Sakuma (1554-1 July 1583) was a general of the Shibata clan. Having fought under Katsuie Shibata when he was an Oda general, he was given Oyama Gobo fortress, a former Ikko-Ikki castle. He supported Katsuie after the death of Nobunaga Oda and after a war began with rival general Hideyoshi Hashiba, and made the unwise choice to attack a numerically superior Toyotomi army at the Battle of Shizugatake. He was captured trying to flee and beheaded.
