Morgan Luttrell (1975-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-TX 8) from 3 January 2023, succeeding Kevin Brady.
Biography[]
Morgan Luttrell was born in Houston, Texas in 1975, the brother of Marcus Luttrell. He served in the US Navy SEALs for 14 years, before a spinal cord injury he sustained during a helicopter crash resulted in his discharge. He went on to become an adjunct professor at Sam Houston State University, teaching law enforcement leadership; he also founded an energy solutions company. In 2022, he was elected to the US House of Representatives as a Republican.
