The Moravian Church is a Protestant church dating back to the Bohemian Reformation in the fifteenth century. The church was founded by Moravian Protestant refugees in Saxony in 1722, and the Moravian missionaries were the first major Protestant missionaries, establishing missions in the United States, Australia, and Greenland, among other countries. In 2016, the Moravian Church had 1,112,120 followers.
