The Montuyoc ambulance ambush occurred in 2019 when American special forces ambushed and captured a Santa Blanca Cartel medical supplies convoy in Bolivia's Montuyoc province.
While heading to track down the Santa Blanca Cartel's trainer Carl Bookhart, Major Anthony Perryman and his Ghost Recon squad came across a medical supplies convoy moving through rural Montuyoc. Perryman drove as his squadmates destroyed the escort vehicles, and he ultimately stopped the ambulance, killed its guards, and planted a tracker to enable the Kataris 26 rebels to retrieve the supplies at a later time.
