Monsieur Lee was a love hotel located in Kabukicho, Tokyo. After its closure, it was converted into a secret drug lab by Dr. Yoji Shono, who used it to test AD-9 on kidnapped Kyorei-kai yakuza. The lab was discovered by private detective Takayuki Yagami in December 2018, but Vice-Minister for Health Kaoru Ichinose persuaded prosecutor Kunihiko Morita not to investigate the lab because it was "classified".
