Monobazus (110 BC-84 BC) was a Pontic nobleman who served on King Mithridates VI Eupator's Council of Nobles during the 1st century BC. In 84 BC, he commanded a Pontic army sent to aid the Armenian general Osaces in recapturing Nicomedia (Izmit) from the Romans, but the Mithridatic armies instead met the Roman general Lucullus at the Battle of Leukai, during which both of the Mithridatic generals were slain.
