Molino department

Molino department is a department of Colombia, located along the country's western coastline; it bordered Foscani department to the northeast and Tensaca department to the southeast. Centered on the city of Molino, it was dominated by the Nuevo Grupo crime syndicate during the 1980s and 1990s, but, in 1990, the department was taken over by the Hermanos Carnales cartle of Felix Vijo. Once a heavily forested and rural region, Vijo built several aerodromes, marijuana farms, drug labs, warehouses, and roads in the region.
