Mohsin Ghajardyan

Mohsin Ghajardyan (died 3 February 2016) was a Brigadier-General of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps of Iran.

Biography[]

Mohsin Ghajardyan was born in Iran, and he joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) during the Iran-Iraq War. Ghajardyan became the commander of the 21st Imam Rida Armored Brigade from Nishapur and was sent to advise the Syrian Arab Republic during their offensive in northern Aleppo against the Islamist rebels. Ghajardyan was killed in action on 3 February 2016 with 23 other IRGC advisers.
