Biography[]
Mohammed Safady was born in Palestine, and he received "special training" with the Black September Organization affiliate of the Palestine Liberation Organization. On 5 September 1972, he helped in the kidnapping of the Israeli athletes from the Olympic Village in Munich, West Germany, and he suffered a flesh wound during the attack by the German police on Connollystrasse the next morning. He was captured alive, and he was released alongside Adnan al-Gashey and Jamal al-Gashey after Lufthansa Flight 615 was hijacked by the BSO.
