Mohammad Pesyan (1939-) was an Iranian general during the Iran-Iraq War. Pesyan served in the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) during the conflict, and he became the commander of the 207,000-strong 2nd Army in Tehran in 1992. The army was later sent to the border with Iraq in the case of another war.
