Mithridates of Petra was the Roman client King of Petra during the late 2nd century AD. In 180 AD, he attended the Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius' conference of Roman governors and client kings on the Danube frontier, where Marcus Aurelius promised a future for the Roman Empire marked by equal rights for all of its subjects.
