Mitchell Tenpenny (17 August 1989-) was an American country pop singer-songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. The grandson of a music publishing executive, he met several country stars during his childhood and released his debut album in 2015. In 2020, he criticized the victorious Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden's supporters for holding public celebrations while country musicians were unable to hold live concerts due to COVID-19 restrictions.
