
Mistress Ching (born c. 1675) was a blind Chinese pirate who was the "pirate lord" of the Pacific Ocean.
Biography[]
Mistress Ching was born in Canton, China, and she became a feared pirate despite being blind. Ching was active in piracy for decades, smuggling goods between Japan and China and becoming the "pirate lord" of the Pacific Ocean. Ching was known for owning several brothels as well as for her harsh punishment of enemies, often beheading them; she was a valiant piate, and her confederation of pirates had one of the largest pirate fleets in history.
