Minn Matrone

Minn Matrone (died 2003) was a New Jersey resident who was murdered by Paulie Gualtieri in 2003 during a home invasion.

Biography[]

Minn Matrone was the wife of barber accessories salesman Salvatore Matrone, and the two of them attended the local theatre every week. When Nucci Gualtieri caused a car accident for Minn and two of her friends, Matrone and her friend Cookie Cirillo decided to exclude her from any of their activities, angering Marianucci's son Paulie Gualtieri. Gualtieri broke into Matrone's house and searched for her life savings, which were hidden under her bed, but Matrone caught him in the act. She threatened to call his mother, and she kneed Gualtieri in the groin and began to call for help. Gualtieri chased her down the hallway, threw her on the ground, and suffocated her with a small pillow. He left her body on the ground as he stole her money.
