Miniato de Calvio (died 1479) was a Pazzi mercenary captain who was one of the leaders of the invasion of the Palazzo Medici in 1479. De Calvio ordered his men to find a ladder to climb up to a secret entrance to the fourth floor of the palazzo, but they were distracted when they found out that an intruder, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, had entered the bedroom and pulled a lever that activated the secret opening. Ezio managed to escape the guards, reaching the secret exit as the Pazzi failed to shoot him with arrows. The Pazzi mercenaries were later captured by Medici guards and executed.
