Miles Campbell (20 September 1986-), code-named "Castle", is an American operative in Rainbow and a current FBI SWAT agent. He was recruited to Rainbow in 2015 in the midst of the White Mask attacks.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Miles Campbell was born on September 20, 1986, in Sherman Oaks, California. Campbell graduated from California State University in Long Beach with a bachelor's degree in Science and Criminal Justice and joined the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police and FBI Career[]

After five years as a patrolman, Campbell qualified to join the LAPD SWAT, where he stayed for 3 years. He excelled in high-risk incidents and tactical support, and his entry tactics made him earn the rank of Captain early in his career as a SWAT officer. Campbell earned several commendation medals during his police career, his first being for his perimeter control. These commendations were mainly for perfecting techniques and equipment, keeping the safety of his team first and foremost.

Campbell was recruited to the FBI as a field agent, training with the German GSG-9. After two years, Campbell was invited to the FBI SWAT and participated in cross-training with many international law enforcement agencies, including the SAS and GIGN. During a hostage extraction, Campbell became trapped in a small, dilapidated outbuilding. Due to the lack of a door, Campbell constructed a barricade out of a blanket and staple gun he found in the building, using it to remain concealed until backup arrived to take out the hostiles. Campbell used this experience to supervise the construction of the UTP1-Universal Tactical Panel, having been implemented with FBI SWAT teams since 2013.

Rainbow career[]

Campbell was recruited into the reactivated multinational counter-terrorist unit Rainbow in 2015, in light of the White Mask attacks.
