
Mikhail Vladimirovich Myasnikovich (born 6 May 1950) was Prime Minister of Belarus from 28 December 2010 to 27 December 2014, succeeding Sergei Sidorsky and preceding Andrei Kobyakov.
Biography[]
Mikhail Myasnikovich was born in Novy Snov, Byelorussian SSR, Soviet Union on 6 May 1950, and he graduated from the Brest Engineering and Construction Institute and the CPSU School in Minsk in 1989. During the 1970s and 1980s, he was involved with Soviet politics, serving as Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities of the BSSR from 1986 to 1991. Myasnikovich became an engineer in the construction industry, and he served as Deputy Prime Minister from 1991 to 1994. From 2010 to 2014, Myasnikovich served as Prime Minister, serving as an independent.
