Michael "Mike" Ruggero (October 30, 1973-) was an American criminal from New York City who operated during the 1990s and early 2000s.
Biography[]
Ruggero was born in New York on October 30, 1973 to a poor family in the Bronx. At an early age began dabbling in small crime with his friend Vinnie Tommaso. Eventually Vinnie would gain ties to the Leone crime family.
Vinnie's death and quest for revenge[]
In 2000, after drinking at a bar in Manhattan, Tommaso was killed in a car bomb explosion. This event caused Mike to go a quest for revenge around New York, gaining ties to Asuka Kasen and the Kasen Yakuza, 8-Ball, King Courtney, the leader of the Uptown Yardies, and a Colombian cartel member, Cisco. Ruggero did several jobs for Cisco one of which included kidnapping the niece of Asuka Kasen, Yuka Kasen. After Cisco began trying to figure out who killed Tommaso he and Mike were lead to an Ambush leading to Cisco's death. After a car chase it was revealed that Tommaso had in fact faked his own death to take all the money for himself. Tommaso was killed by Ruggero in revenge and shortly after the Cartel arrived and attempted to kill Mike because they thought he killed Cisco. Mike then escaped in Cisco's airplane and left New York for good.
