Mike Gallagher (3 March 1984-) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-WI 8) from 3 January 2017 to 24 April 2024, succeeding Reid Ribble and preceding Tony Wied.
Biography[]
Mike Gallagher was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin in 1984, and he served in the US Marine Corps reserves from 2006 to 2013. He worked as a Republican staffer before working as a senior marketing strategist, and he was elected to the US House of Representatives in 2016. In February 2024, he came under fire from fellow Republicans for voting against their impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, leading to Gallgher deciding against seeking re-election.
