Michael J. "Mike" Bost (born 30 December 1960) was a member of the US House of Representatives (R-IL 12) from 3 January 2015, succeeding William Enyart.
Biography[]
Mike Bost was born in Murphysboro, Illinois in 1960, and he ran his family's trucking company for ten years, owned and operated a beauty salon with his wife, and worked as a firefighter. From 1995 to 2015, he served in the State House of Representatives as a Republican Party member, and he was elected to the US House of Representatives in 2014.
