'Mikail Seljukoglu (990-1039) was the son of Seljuk and the father of Chagri-Beg Mikailoglu and Tughril-Beg Mikailoglu.
Biography[]
Mikail Seljukoglu was born in 990 to a Turkish Sunni Muslim family. His father Seljuk was the leader of the Oghuz Confederation and the progenitor of the Seljuk Empire. Mikail was merely a bridge from the great Seljuk to his successors, his sons Chagri-Beg Mikailoglu and Tughril-Beg Mikailoglu.
